The Chief Within

CJ had always felt a quiet pull in his heart—a call he couldn’t explain. He often found himself drawn to the history and struggles of American Indians. He read their stories, walked through reservations with a strange sense of belonging, and sometimes, while hiking in Oklahoma, he felt as though the land whispered secrets only he could hear.
Still, the deeper meaning behind this connection eluded him. That’s when he came to see me, hoping that a past life regression might shed light on his unshakable desire to help Indigenous communities.
As CJ settled into the session, his breath slowed, and the present moment faded away. His mind drifted across time and space, landing somewhere in the warm plains of what would later be called Oklahoma. There, he saw himself—strong, proud, dressed in traditional regalia. A circle of people surrounded him, eyes filled with trust. He was a chief, a respected leader of his tribe.
CJ spoke softly as the visions came. He saw his people gathering under the stars, telling stories, preserving sacred traditions. He felt their pain during times of hardship, their strength in resistance, and his role in guiding them with compassion and courage.
When he came out of the regression, there were tears in his eyes—not of sadness, but of recognition. Something had clicked into place.
“I understand now,” he said. “This isn’t just empathy. It’s memory. It’s who I’ve been. Who I still am, deep down.”
Since that day, CJ has walked a path with renewed purpose. He’s begun working with Native organizations, supporting education programs and cultural preservation. But more than anything, he carries with him the spirit of the chief he once was—wise, grounded, and deeply committed to his people.
.....and now, he knows exactly why.
