There are moments in this work that touch the heart deeply—reminders of why I do what I do. Today, I want to share one of those moments with you.

Not long ago, I worked with a woman who had lived with a deep, paralyzing fear of dogs for as long as she could remember. The mere sound of barking would send her into a panic.

She avoided parks, certain streets, even social events—anything that might bring her face-to-face with a dog. This fear wasn't just an inconvenience; it was quietly shaping her world, limiting her freedom and stealing moments of joy.

When she came to me, she was tired of living that way. She was ready for change, even if it felt scary. Through our sessions together, we gently explored the roots of her fear, unraveled old associations, and step by step, helped her rewire her relationship with dogs.

It wasn’t always easy, but she showed up with courage and commitment every single time. Recently, I received a letter from her—one that made me smile and tear up all at once.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I never thought I’d be able to walk through my neighborhood without fear, let alone stop to pet a dog. But last weekend, I did. A beautiful golden retriever came up to me, wagging its tail, and instead of running, I knelt down and let him sniff my hand. I felt calm. I felt free. You’ve helped me reclaim a piece of my life, and I’m forever grateful.”

These words mean more than I can say. This kind of transformation is why I do this work—to help people find their way back to the parts of life they thought they had to live without.

To my brave client—thank you for trusting me, for showing up for yourself, and for letting me walk alongside you on this journey. Your letter is a testament to what’s possible when healing begins.

And to anyone out there who’s living with fear—know this: you are not alone, and change is possible.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here.
